Re: Orion 0.9 release

Thanks to all of you ! ... PS. My only problem is that I had to create a new Orion 0.9 folder to avoid a 'collision' (because the networks are named the same). @Gabor : I'm sorry about that. I did not anticipate that someone could put several versions of Orion in only one directory (it can make sens...

Orion 0.8 + The Cerebrum release

After all my NNUE experiments, it's time to release a new version of my little engine Orion ! The main changes are : - the use of a "NNUE-like" neural network as evaluation function ; - the release of both my trainer (Python) and inference (C langage) source code as a "library". ...

Orion 0.7 release

Another year, another release :) I'm happy to announce a new version for my little engine Orion ! A lot of work, with a complete rewrite of evaluation function and tuning method. Orion now supports Syzygy tablebases and embeds its own KPK bitbase, both should help a lot in endgame phase. More detail...

New Orion release : v0.4 !

I'm happy to announce the availability of a new version of my little UCI engine : v0.4 ! I concentrated all my efforts to improve the search function, and the new version should clearly be better than the previous one (I hope in the range of 50-100 elo). A BMI2 version of the engine is also provided...
